Hungary Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2025

Hungary greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 59,596.53, a 4.02% decline from 2019.
  • Hungary greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 62,093.74, a 3.37% decline from 2018.
  • Hungary greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 64,259.83, a 0.64% decline from 2017.
  • Hungary greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 64,674.47, a 8.41% increase from 2016.
Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
