Bangladesh Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2025

Bangladesh greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 206,570.35, a 2.63% decline from 2019.
  • Bangladesh greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 212,143.15, a 1.07% decline from 2018.
  • Bangladesh greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 214,432.34, a 4.59% increase from 2017.
  • Bangladesh greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 205,028.63, a 5.12% increase from 2016.
Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
